Having photographed almost 300 weddings over the last eight years, Lunell & Noel Troy’s artistic style has earned them high praise from critics and clients alike.

Mixing creative, traditional, and candid styles, Troy Photography gives their clients a certain artistic variety that is appreciated by brides, grooms, parents, family and friends.

Unobtrusive and spontaneous, Lunell & Noel are experts at capturing the emotion, and “behind the scenes” happenings that are often overlooked. They bring a sense of fun to the formals creating visually-pleasing, relaxed photographs that convey the genuine affection of the bride & groom, as well as the camaraderie and friendship of the bridal party and families.

While they are sure to capture every moment, you’ll never feel like they are running your day or getting in the way. The photographs that they produce will be treasured for years to come.

Lunell & Noel
Noel was born and raised in Kilkee, Ireland and moved to the United States in 1989. Lunell moved to Connecticut that same year - she is originally from Scranton, Pennsylvania. Together they share a great love of art, music and photography.

They were married in 1998 and soonafter traveled throughout Europe, living and working for three years just outside Dublin, Ireland. When they returned to the States, they began shooting weddings, and together built their company Troy Photography LLC.

Over the years, they have been fortunate to have photographed many memorable and gorgeous weddings all over the state of CT, as well as MA, NY, RI and NJ. And while they continue to spend a few months each year in Ireland, they make their home just outside Hartford, CT - centrally located between New York City and Boston.

They have been happily married for eleven years and welcomed a daughter Ciara (pronounced "Keera") to their family in 2004.
